“Having a vehicle is going to change everything in my life“
CAR #78 has found its new home!
We were able to partner with Buckton Presbyterian Church to help a young lady in need of a vehicle.
The recepient shared, “Having a vehicle is going to change everything in my life. From opening countless doors for work opportunities, to the simplest thing – running to the store for something I forgot without having to ask for help every day or walk to work when I am in pain (I have physical restrictions). More than anything, I will be able to provide a more full and sufficient life for my children. Finally not having to say “I can’t”. I can now! I can give them that ride to a friends’s house or to a local event. I can get to all of our health appointments! I can take care of myself and them by getting to doctors out-of-town that we deeply need. We can visit other places, family and have the freedom to work and play as much as we have wanted to!”

If you would like to volunteer in any way, please call (540) 635-2455 Ext 101. Volunteers can help with fundraising events (car shows, golf tournaments and more) , administrative tasks, marketing, writing for grants, and soliciting donated vehicles from the public.

We work with Case Managers of area Non-Profits and Ministers of local Churches who refer candidates to us that they have been working with to improve their life, such as housing, food, utilities, etc., but LACK transportation.
