THIS MOTHER HAS WORKED HARD TO STAY ON TRACK AND OVERCOME THE HARDSHIPS SHE HAS FACED.
“Life has been difficult for myself and my child to say the least, since losing my job in March. I was in a car accident in November 2025 that resulted in my car becoming a total loss. I’ve been without a car for 7 months.
When I was notified of my acceptance into this program I believe a miracle happened. Paying for rides everywhere has truly taken a toll on my mental health as well as my bank account.
This vehicle will have the most positive impact on my life to allow me to get to and from work, pick my daughter up from her after-school care. Grocery shop rather than order groceries. It would give us independence, reliability and a peace of mind, again. It will allow me to provide more opportunities for my child, again – without transportation being a barrier.
In conclusion, this opportunity is more than just receiving a vehicle for me. It will be a new freedom of life. Not having a monthly car payment will allow me to have more experiences with my child. This program will have the most positive impact on our daily lives. Thank you for the opportunity and the vehicle match. I’m very thankful.“

If you would like to volunteer in any way, please call (540) 635-2455 Ext 101. Volunteers can help with fundraising events (car shows, golf tournaments and more) , administrative tasks, marketing, writing for grants, and soliciting donated vehicles from the public.
