OUR GOAL IS TO GIVE AWAY 1 VEHICLE PER MONTH, OR 12 PER YEAR.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOU REFER A CANDIDATE TO OUR MINISTRY?
Your candidate will be placed on our Waiting List until we have a vehicle available for them.
Once we have a vehicle matched to your candidate, we will notify the Case Manager / Pastor. At that time, the Case Manager / Pastor must be willing to help their candidates through the following process to receive their NEW (USED) VEHICLE.
- Provide CCL Ministry with a copy of candidate’s valid driver’s license
- Assist candidate with obtaining Proof of Insurance on Vehicle that candidate will be receiving
- Accompany candidate to meeting with CCL Ministry so that candidate can sign Agreement to receive vehicle and write an Impact Statement as to what receiving a vehicle means to the candidate.
- Case Manager / Pastor will be entrusted with Title to the Vehicle and will accompany Candidate to DMV to obtain their new title, registration and tags. (If, for any reason, candidate cannot put vehicle in their name at DMV, Case Manager / Pastor must return TITLE to CCL Ministry).
- Candidate returns their new title, registration and tags to CCL Ministry.
- CCL Ministry will need up to one week to take vehicle on long road test to make sure all issues have been addressed before turning over to candidate. Vehicle will have current oil change, car wash, full tank of gas and valid State Inspection sticker. Candidate will be notified when to pickup vehicle! Enjoy and Safe Travels!
